What the game stores
GLITCH RUN uses your browser’s localStorage to save game data on the device and browser where you play. The game uses the key glitchrun.v1 for your high score, coins, gameplay progress, settings (including sound, volume, screen shake, and reduced motion), selected and owned cosmetics, achievements, and daily mission progress and rewards. Daily missions are determined using your device’s local date.
This saved game data is not an account and the game code does not send it to a game server. Clearing this site’s browser storage or using another browser/device can remove or leave behind that local progress. Browser storage availability and retention are controlled by your browser.
Information from site requests
The game itself does not ask you to submit personal information. When your browser requests this website, the hosting and network services needed to deliver it may process request information. This project does not define what operational logs those services retain; consult the relevant provider’s privacy information for details.
Advertising status
Google AdSense is not currently enabled on this website. There are no AdSense scripts in the project at this time, so this policy does not describe active AdSense cookies or advertising data collection.
If advertising is added in the future, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure, and personalize ads, subject to the configuration and choices available then. Google explains its advertising cookies and data practices in its Advertising technologies and cookies information and Privacy Policy. These are Google’s descriptions of its services, not a claim that those services are active on GLITCH RUN today.
Your choices
You can clear GLITCH RUN’s local browser storage through your browser settings; this removes locally saved game progress and preferences. If advertising is introduced, available ad and privacy controls will depend on the services and settings in use at that time.
Changes
This policy may be updated if the website’s features or services change. The revision date above will be updated when this page is changed.
